van de Zandschulp looks for 2nd ATP Tour win on clay this season after defeating Bautista Agut in Munich 1R.
By joining de Jong and Griekspoor in 2R, it would mark the first time three Dutchmen are in 2R of same ATP Tour event since 2023 Rotterdam (Brouwer, Griekspoor, van de Zandschulp) and first time on clay since 2007 Amersfoort.
Moller made his ATP Tour debut at ATP Masters 1000 Madrid in April and now looks for first ATP Tour win,
having won all 5 previous tour-level matches in Davis Cup (5-3). Last week, he captured his 3rd Challenger title in Iasi, and bids to be 6th Dane to win a match in Bastad in Open Era.
Boyer is playing in his 2nd ATP Tour event on clay and seeks first tour-level win on the surface. He earned
2nd-most wins on Challenger level last year (44, 1st Ugo Carabelli – 49), including 27 on clay and bids to be 1st American to earn a match win at the event since Russell in 2001.
Pellegrino earned his first ATP Tour win of the year in 1R against Faria in his 3rd ATP Tour appearance after
2020 Sardinia as a qualifier (d. No. 70 Travaglia in 1R, l. to Musetti in 2R) and Bastad last year as LL (l. to eventual champion Borges in 1R). He is 2-2 vs. Top 50 opponents, all at Challenger level, and bids to reach first ATP Tour QF.
Misolic is making his 2nd appearance in Bastad after also qualifying in 2023 and reaching his 2nd ATP Tour
QF (l. to Musetti). He earned 13 of his 14 tour-level wins of career on clay (13-8 on the surface, 14-12 overall).
Griekspoor is 11-3 in opening round matches this year, 5-1 on clay with a sole loss to Fils at ATP Masters
1000 Monte-Carlo and now seeks 23rd ATP Tour QF. He is 22-4 vs. players ranked outside Top 20 this season.
M. Ymer returns to Bastad for the first time since 2021 and is playing in his first tour-level match outside Davis
Cup since reaching 2023 Wimbledon 3R (d. No. 9 Fritz in 2R for latest Top 100 win; l. to Galan in 3R).
Dzumhur seeks to break a 4-match losing streak and earn first win since reaching Roland Garros 3R (l. to
Alcaraz). He defeated Ruud in Bastad 1R in tournament debut 6 years ago to become the only Bosnian match winner in tournament history.
E. Ymer leads the 2025 field in most Bastad appearances (12), advancing to 2R 4 times. He aims to record
first tour-level win outside Davis Cup since advancing to 2023 Stockholm quarterfinals (l. to Kecmanovic).
Ofner is making his 2nd appearance in Bastad after reaching 2nd of 7 ATP Tour QFs in 2023 (l. to Ruud). He
is 5-1 in opening round matches this season with a sole loss to Rublev in Halle and aims to record 10 wins in a
season for third time in career (13 in 2023, 17 in 2024).
