Reigning champion Luciano Darderi is set to return to Båstad this summer as he has been confirmed for the Nordea Open. The Italian made a major breakthrough at the tournament in 2025, capturing the title and quickly becoming a fan favourite.
Since his victory in Båstad, Darderi has continued his steady rise on the international tennis tour. Earlier this season, he reached the third round of the Australian Open and has climbed into the world’s top 25. With four ATP titles to his name, he has firmly established himself as one of the tour’s most exciting players.
Known for his high intensity, powerful baseline game and visible passion on court, Darderi’s return adds further strength to the field ahead of this summer’s Nordea Open in Båstad.
