Nordea Open named ATP 250 Tournament of the Year once again

Nordea Open - Award - Tournament of the year 2025

The Nordea Open in Båstad, Sweden, has once again been named ATP 250 Tournament of the Year as part of the 2025 ATP Awards, based on player voting. The award recognises the tournament that delivers the highest standards in organisation, service, and hospitality across the ATP Tour.

Winning the honour for the 13th time overall – and for the second time in the past three seasons – confirms the Nordea Open’s long-standing reputation as one of the most beloved and professionally run tournaments on Tour. With strong global competition, the recognition is both significant and deeply appreciated.

”This is great news and we are of course happy and thankful. Our ambition is always to give the best services and hospitality to all our guests – players, partners and spectators,” said Christer Hult, CEO & Tournament Director of the Nordea Open. ”This is confirmation that the team is doing a great job, and it inspires us to continue developing the tournament even more.”

Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2023, the Nordea Open remains one of the most scenic and popular events on the ATP calendar. This year, Italy’s Luciano Darderi captured the singles title, while Guido Andreozzi and Sander Arends won the doubles crown in a Match Tie-break final.

Other winners at the 2025 ATP Awards include the Cincinnati Open (ATP Masters 1000 Tournament of the Year) and the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha (ATP 500 Tournament of the Year).
