After a successful summer of tennis in Båstad, where both attendance and financial records were broken, it is now official that Nordea is extending its title sponsorship of Nordea Open until at least 2027. This year’s Båstad tennis tournament saw a record-breaking 85,000 spectators, further solidifying the event’s position as one of the world’s premier summer tennis tournaments.

Yulia Putintseva, who reached semi-finals in Båstad in 2015, is one step closer to the final four after her win today against American Katie Volynets who had to withdraw in the second set. Putintseva will face either Aliona Bolsova of Spain or Polona Hercog of Slovenia.
