Sinner to play Nordea Open

Nordea Open is pleased to announce that world number two Jannik Sinner will play the Nordea Open in Båstad this summer.

Jannik Sinner, the charismatic Italian, has impressed with an outstanding start to the season, with strong performances in every competition he has entered. The highlight is undoubtedly his victory at the Australian Open, where he secured his first Grand Slam title at the age of just 22 . His presence at the Nordea Open strengthens the tournament’s position as one of the most sought-after events in the world of tennis and confirms Båstad’s position as a magnet for world-class tennis players.

– That he will come to Båstad this summer is really unimaginable. He has incredible capacity and I think he will be number one eventually. We are of course satisfied and he is excited to come here.
